Refund & Return Policy
Our promise. If your gift arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, email admin@yearsofus.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo. We remake it or refund you in full — you keep the item.
Personalized items. Engraved, printed, or custom-made items are produced for you alone and cannot be resold, so they are not returnable for change of mind. Before production we send a digital proof for engraved/printed designs; please check spelling and dates carefully. If the mistake is ours, we remake it free. If the mistake is in the text you approved, we offer a remake at 50% of the price.
Non-personalized items. You have 30 days from delivery to return unused items in original packaging for a refund or exchange. Return shipping is paid by the customer unless the item was damaged, defective, or wrong.
EU & UK customers — right of withdrawal. Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations you may cancel an order of non-personalized goods within 14 days of receiving them, without giving a reason. Personalized or made-to-order goods are exempt by law. Refunds are issued within 14 days of receiving the goods back.
How to return.
- Email admin@yearsofus.com with your order number and reason.
- We reply within 24 hours with the return address and instructions. Do not send items back before receiving them.
- Ship with a tracked service.
Refund timing. Once your return arrives and is inspected (1–3 business days), the refund goes to your original payment method. Banks typically post it within 5–10 business days.
Order cancellation. You can cancel within 12 hours of placing the order for a full refund. After that, personalized items are already in production.
